Rev. Calvin Vezina has been trained and involved in palliative care within Timmins for a number of years. He is on the TADH emergency pastoral care on call team and a member of the Timmins Palliative Care Resource Team. Calvin acts as the Director of Pastoral Care for the new Timmins Hospice Center at TADH and operates under their confidentiality and Privacy act. He is able to field questions of a spiritual nature with all of our districts major religions and is able to provide contact with other pastors, priests, Catholic deacons, Aboriginal spirituality etc. for patients and families of specifically requested denominations. In the event that a patient's family desires to speak with a spiritual care provider, Rev. Vezina has made himself available for this purpose. There is no charge for this service. |
